WhatsApp commerce needs a journey. Not just a chatbot.
Connect product discovery, qualification, and human support before you automate another answer.
Start with the customer’s next decision
A useful commerce conversation helps someone move forward. They might need a shortlist, a specification, an appointment, or a person who can confirm availability. Map those decisions before writing an assistant prompt.
Build on a reliable catalog
Use published product data as the basis for recommendations. Separate exact availability questions from advisory questions, and keep product identifiers attached to the conversation so a request for pictures refers to the right selection.
Use structured flows at the right moment
When a customer is ready to share requirements, a guided flow can collect consistent information. Test its first screen, dynamic values, submission, and handoff. A routing configuration alone does not prove that a booking flow executes.
Measure the whole journey
Review recommendation relevance, submitted enquiries, unresolved conversations, and handoff delays. Use a clear reporting baseline and compare equivalent periods. Treat improvement targets as hypotheses until real customer data supports them.
