Good automation knows when to bring in a person.

Design business hours, assignment, and a shared inbox as part of the customer experience.

Make handoff an intentional part of the service

A customer may need a specialist, reassurance, or an exception. Let the assistant route that request instead of trapping the customer in repeated automated answers.

Respect the team’s operating hours

The current project supports structured weekly schedules, timezones, holidays, and after-hours assignment rules. Decide which enquiries AI can continue helping with and which should wait for an available team member.

Keep the customer’s work intact

The shared inbox and conversation history give a person the context needed to continue. Confirm ownership and avoid simultaneous human and automated replies. Clear takeover and release behavior matters as much as routing.

Track the service you actually provide

Watch queue wait time, assignment, and response behavior over a defined reporting period. Test holiday closures and after-hours enquiries as well as the happy path. Use these observations to tune staffing and escalation rules.

GOOD THINGS START WITH A CONVERSATION

Your next chapter
starts with “hello.”

Let’s find the first journey that moves your business forward.
